The purpose and objectives of the Siouxland Rental Association, as filed with the State of Iowa in August 1967, are as follows:

A. To create, maintain and develop cooperation among owners and managers of apartments house and multifamily residence type building in Sioux City.
B. To facilitate the exchange of ideas as to concept construction, operation and maintenance of local apartments house building.
C. To collect and disseminate information, including statistical date relating to the rental and operation of apartment houses.
D. To work together with local officials for relief of racial tension.
E. To advice and educate other landlord and tenants of pending legislation through a monthly mailer.
F. To work together with tenant or tenant organizations for the betterment of housing locally, or otherwise.
G. To operate with a profit
H. To promote cordial relations with officials at all levels of government in matters affecting the apartment house industry,
I. To foster sound, friendly relations as between the apartment owner and the tenant.
J. To compose and make available to all members forms, such as rental leases, rental increase, evict notices and etc.
K. Unlimited power to engage in lawful acts concerning any and all lawful business for a corporation organized under this act.
